What is PINKtober?
PINKtober is Thriving Pink’s annual campaign in October, coinciding with National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, dedicated to raising awareness, building community, and creating tangible local impact for breast cancer thrivers in Yolo County. When we come together as individuals, families, businesses, and community partners, we empower those impacted by breast cancer to truly thrive.
Why Your Participation Matters
The Reality: 1 in 8 women and 1 in approximately 700 men will face breast cancer in their lifetime, including family, friends, neighbors, employees, business owners, and customers in our community.
Our Proven Impact: We're celebrating 10 years of impact this year. During this time, we've awarded over $431,000 in individual grants and hosted more than 500 workshops and support offerings, all at no cost to participants.
Your Role: Together, we ensure no one faces this journey alone by creating direct local impact through financial grants, Thrivers' Circles of Support, community connections and a wide variety of programs.
