Granting Pink

We provide financial grants to help the Yolo County breast cancer community with essential needs. Until there is a cure, we are committed to our mission to help others throughout their breast cancer journey.

Grant Eligibility:

Anyone diagnosed with breast cancer who lives in Yolo County and has not received a prior grant from Thriving Pink can apply by filling out the application. You can also nominate someone diagnosed with breast cancer by applying on their behalf for this special recognition and support.

Funding and Criteria:

A Granting Pink Committee evaluates eligible applications based on the following: diagnosis and treatment plan, financial need, and other special circumstances.

 

Each year, Thriving Pink provides financial assistance with individual grants to local breast cancer survivors. Over $260,000 in total awards have been provided since 2017 to over 200 individuals. These financial grants are used at the recipients' discretion for important needs, such as medical care, treatment, prescriptions, co-pays, care providers, counseling, wellness programs, rent, groceries, and transportation.
