GRANTING PINK

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR IMMEDIATE NEEDS

GRANTING PINK APPLICATIONS
Granting Pink is an individual financial grant program to help local breast cancer survivors with immediate and direct needs, and to recognize them for their courage and resilience on this difficult journey.  Many survivors/thrivers in our local community have limited income, are not able to work full-time, or have limited health insurance.  They greatly benefit from financial assistance for medical appointments, costs for surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, transportation, rent, groceries, and quality of life care.

Thank you for making it possible to provide direct support with these crucial funds.  Since 2017, we have awarded over $128,000 in total individual grants.  In 2020, we awarded $51,400 individual grants to 41 local breast cancer survivors.

Encourage a woman diagnosed with breast cancer to fill out the straightforward application.  You can also nominate a survivor/thriver – your neighbor, friend or relative – by filling out the application on their behalf.

Email info@thrivingpink.org for a copy of the Granting Pink application. Applications are due by February 22, 2021.

PARTNERING PINK

A CARING & GIVING COMMUNITY

PINK GALA
We celebrate our Local Pink Heroes at the annual Pink Gala each year.  Join us for this special evening to celebrate the best of our community!  This is an absolutely wonderful and memorable event to honor our Granting Pink Awardees, and thank our dedicated volunteers and outstanding community partners.

The Pink Gala is also a major fundraiser for Thriving Pink and our Granting Pink Program.  It takes a village and we are so grateful to our community for embracing our cause and mission!

PINKTOBER
An October outreach campaign engaging the community and raising funds for our core programs.  What’s Raised Here, Stays Here!  We appreciate the support of local businesses, organizations, and individuals. We also partner with the Davis Enterprise throughout the year for a monthly photo and article, and a special pink tab section in October.  Go Pink & Give Local!
