Community invited to peaceful stroll through Huei's Garden in Davis to support local breast cancer survivors
DAVIS, CA – September 3, 2025 – Thriving Pink invites the community to experience the tranquility of Huei's Garden during a special tour on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 12:00-4:00 PM at 234 Luz Place in Davis.
The Asian-inspired garden offers visitors a peaceful stroll where nature, harmony, and community come together. Hosted by the generosity of Huei Young, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the event provides an opportunity for reflection and connection while supporting those impacted by breast cancer in Yolo County.
"Huei's Garden provides a beautiful, contemplative space that perfectly embodies our mission of helping people thrive," said Leslie Hunter, Executive Director of Thriving Pink. "Gardens have a special way of bringing people together and providing comfort during challenging times, and this tour offers our community a unique opportunity to support those impacted by breast cancer while experiencing the peace and beauty of this tranquil place."
Since 2016, Thriving Pink has served as Yolo County's sole nonprofit providing support and resources to help those impacted by breast cancer thrive. The garden tour is one of many PINKtober activities in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
