About This Event
Join us for a free community educational and research event exploring the link between nanoplastics and breast cancer, designed to empower you with practical steps to reduce everyday exposures.
You’ll learn from experts about:
What nanoplastics are and where they're commonly found
Emerging research on nanoplastics and breast cancer
Simple, effective actions to reduce your exposures
Evidence-based prevention strategies
Resources for ongoing support and education
Breast cancer survivors attending the event will also learn about a regional research study led by the UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center. Participants in the study may receive a $25 Amazon gift card.
Additional educational sessions will be offered next spring in Woodland and West Sacramento.

This program and educational sessions are in collaboration with the UC Davis Women’s Cancer Care and Research (WeCARE) Program, Breast Cancer Prevention Partners, and Thriving Pink.
