Renewal Retreat

The special annual retreat weekend is a respite from the stresses of daily life in a supportive environment. Sessions and activities, led by a professional facilitator, are interactive, inspiring, and reflective. Attendees often develop close bonds of friendship with each other. This retreat is made possible by our generous community sponsors.

Who attends the Retreat?

The Retreat is designed for anyone who resides in Yolo County, has been treated for breast cancer, and is at least 12 months post diagnosis. Attendees must be able to physically participate and care for themselves. Space is limited.

Where is the Retreat held?

The Retreat is held at a comfortable, local, private location, with open space for engaging group activities and meaningful reflection.

What is the Retreat schedule?

Daily schedules may include yoga, a creative workshop, structured time for self-reflection and goal setting, scenic walks, healthy meals and quality time to make new connections. Dress is casual and comfortable – you can wear loose fitting clothing  including yoga pants, tennis or walking shoes.

How do I apply?

Email info@thrivingpink.org for more information.

Investing in the health and well-being of our community benefits us all.  We could not accomplish our goal to support local breast cancer survivors (thrivers) without the support, involvement, and dedication of our volunteers and community partners.
