This Retreat is part of our Mentoring Pink Program. Individuals diagnosed with breast cancer are invited to an inspiring, relaxing, and engaging weekend with others and Pink Peers.
The weekend is a respite from the stresses of daily life in a supportive environment. Sessions and activities are led by a professional facilitator, and are interactive, engaging, and reflective. Attendees form close bonds of friendship and a network of support. There is no cost to attend the retreat.
The Retreat is designed for women who reside in Yolo County, have been treated for breast cancer, are 21 years or older, and are at least 12 months post diagnosis. Attendees must be able to physically participate and care for themselves during the Retreat.
The Retreat will be held at a beautiful, local private residence with access to the greenbelt and the park.
A full agenda will be forwarded to all attendees prior to Retreat which is usually held during a weekend in September. Dress is casual and comfortable – you can wear loose fitting clothing like yoga pants, tennis or walking shoes. Daily schedule may include yoga, a creative workshop, spa session with massages/facials, scenic walks, a small support group setting, and time to enjoy healthy meals and quality time with new friends.
Applications are available in early summer.

Investing in the health and well-being of our community benefits us all. We could not accomplish our goal to support local breast cancer survivors (thrivers) without the support, involvement, and dedication of our volunteers and community partners.
