A Local Mentoring Program

When a woman is newly diagnosed, she can experience a huge array of emotions and challenges. Many times, it is very difficult to know where or who to turn to for support, resources, and unconditional understanding. Thriving Pink is dedicated to providing a support network for local survivors.

We connect newly diagnosed women with survivors who volunteer as Pink Peers to guide them through the challenges of breast cancer with emotional and practical support.  Visit our Event Calendar page on this website for opportunities to connect with other survivors in a supportive environment.  You can also email info@thrivingpink.org for a Pink Peer Mentor or to attend a Pink Peer Group.

Every year, we host a Renewal Retreat led by a professional facilitator during a weekend in September for local survivors.  There is no cost to attend this special retreat which provides a respite from the stresses of daily life, a support group setting, and a unique opportunity to create close bonds with other survivors/thrivers.

A series of open monthly workshops designed for women diagnosed with breast cancer and those who support them. All workshops are professionally facilitated in a supportive environment.

Thriving Workshops are based on themes of goal setting, milestones, and connection in a support group setting.  These workshops are generally held the 4th Monday of the month from 7:00 – 8:30 pm.

The Pink Speaker Series invites health professionals, including oncologists, to give presentations on treatment options and advances in research.  These workshops are generally held on the 2nd Monday of the month from 7:00- 8:30 pm.

Visit the Events Calendar page for details to connect with and be part of our Thriving Pink community!
