Breast cancer survivors who live, work in, or receive treatment in Yolo County can apply by filling out the straightforward application. Individuals can also nominate a breast cancer survivor for this special recognition for their courage and resilience, and apply on their behalf to receive this funding support.
We provide individual financial grants to help local breast cancer survivors with immediate and direct needs. Until there is a cure, we are committed to helping those impacted by breast cancer in our community.
In 2022, Thriving Pink awarded $64,000 in financial assistance with individual grants to 41 local breast cancer survivors. Since 2017, Thriving Pink has provided over $192,000 total in funding through the Granting Pink Program. The individual grants are used for immediate and direct needs, including medical care, treatment, prescriptions, co-pays, care-providers, counseling, wellness programs, rent, groceries, and transportation. Thank you for your generous support which sustains and makes this program possible!
Granting Pink Awardees will also be invited to attend the Thriving Pink Gala with a guest.

Investing in the health and well-being of our community benefits us all. We could not accomplish our goal to support local breast cancer survivors (thrivers) without the support, involvement, and great dedication of our program chairs, board members, volunteers and community partners.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
This grant program is made possible by many community partners and individuals who “GO PINK! & GIVE LOCAL!” in PINKTOBER, throughout the year, and at the annual PINK GALA to support our core programs.
